Terms of Service

Welcome to Travada, Cameroon's premier bus booking application. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Travada mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

Travada is operated by Travada Technologies Ltd., a company registered in Cameroon ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a platform that allows users to search for, compare, and book bus tickets across Cameroon.

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Travada Services, including registered and unregistered users.
• "Account" refers to a registered user profile on the Travada platform.
• "Bus Operator" refers to the transportation companies that provide bus services bookable through Travada.
• "Booking" refers to a reservation of bus tickets made through the Travada platform.
• "Content" refers to all information, text, images, data, links, software, or other material that is displayed on or available through the Services.

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. When you register for an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use our Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during registration or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, false, or outdated.

Travada provides a platform that allows users to:

• Search for bus routes across Cameroon
• Compare prices, schedules, and amenities of different bus operators
• Book and pay for bus tickets
• Receive digital tickets and booking confirmations
• Manage bookings, including viewing, modifying, or canceling reservations

We act as an intermediary between Users and Bus Operators. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about bus services, we do not own or operate the buses. The transportation services are provided by the Bus Operators, who are responsible for the actual transportation service, schedule adherence, and quality of service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time, with or without notice.

When you make a booking through Travada, you agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes associated with that booking. We accept payments through various methods, including MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money.

Payment processing services are provided by third-party payment processors. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these payment processors.

All prices are displayed in Central African CFA franc (FCFA) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

In some cases, we may charge a service fee for using our platform. This fee will be clearly displayed before you complete your booking.

Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the Bus Operator's terms and conditions. These policies will be displayed before you complete your booking.

In general, you may be able to cancel or modify your booking up to a certain time before the scheduled departure. After this cutoff time, cancellations or modifications may not be possible or may incur penalties.

If you are eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise specified.

Our service fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

When using our Services, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our Services
• Use automated means to access or collect data from our Services
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Submit false or misleading information
• Distribute viruses or other malicious code

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these provisions.

The Travada name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Travada Technologies Ltd. or its affiliates. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, are the exclusive property of Travada Technologies Ltd., our licensors, or other content suppliers and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained in our Services
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travada Technologies Ltd., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our Services
• Any conduct or content of any third party on our Services
• Any content obtained from our Services
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• The performance or non-performance of any Bus Operator
• Any other matter relating to our Services

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us during the six (6) months preceding the date of the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travada Technologies Ltd., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of our Services.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our Services or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cameroon.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using our Services.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.
